6 years of marriage...14 years together ...and going as strong as ever

As of today Cody and I have been officially married for 6 years. However, we have been together for a total of 14 years. Crazy! I am sure nobody thought that two highschool sweethearts would make it this long. But look at us now! Happy as the day we met my sophmore year his junior year!

This day was one of  my happiest days. The weather was perfect. The man I was marrying was perfect. The location...the dress...the flowers...the cake....everything was PERFECT.

Everybody says that once they have gone  through the whole wedding thing, they would never do it again. Not me! I loved the whole experience and would do it all over again.

I love Cody more than words or actions could ever explain. He is a great provider, a great daddy, a great husband, and he a great bar-b-quer!  He is PERFECT (most of the time)!!!!

I look forward to many, many, many more days and years with Cody. Happy anniversary babe..
I LOVE YOU!!!

Just the begining....

I am so glad that I have only one boy! I really don't know how other mothers survive! I hate seeing blood and cuts. Cailey is very easy going and does not test her limits. Cayden on the other hand pushes himself to the extreme.  He loves to see how high he can jump of something or how much further he can jump. He is going to be my dare devil, heck he already is! I need to start preparing for it now, but ugh!
Yesterday he was outside with his Grandpa and here he comes in crying. No big deal, I just thought it was his time to come in and he was crying because  he did not want to. Oh no, he scraped his arm on a big metal thing as he was jumping on and off of it. Well it was just not a little scrape it went from his elbow down to his hand with a puddle of blood at the bottom. Thank God Cody was home or I would have taken him to the doctor to have a stich in it. Cody used a butterfly bandage and tightened the skin with it. Yuck! I am so not made out to do this stuff.

It has started!!!

Summer break has officially started in the Cronquist house. First item on the agenda...Cayden and potty training. I don't even know if he is ready, but we sure are. I have a hard time with this issue because Cailey was using the potty and had very few accidents by 2 1/2. The other night I overheard Cailey coaching Cadyen on the right way of peeing for a boy...I think she is even ready for him to be using the toilet!
Cayden is refussing to wear underwear or even a pull-up. So we will see how it goes...

Day 1: Refused to wear underwear. Wore only his shorts, peed them right away and then wanted to wear his underwear. I don't think he liked the feeling of pee going down his leg and the big pond he left on the floor.

Wish me luck...I am going to need it!!!

Memorial Day weekend

We joined the thousands of other people taking pleasure of having a three day weekend and headed up to Cascade. We really did not have any plans other than just getting away. I was also trying to get a feel for what it may be like for me to live in a 30 foot trailer all summer long, with two kids. It could be a really long summer!!! After one day, I was ready to put myself into mommy time out. A trailer just really is not made for little kids to live in. They go completely stir crazy as I do too! The weather was not the most pleasant either so we were cooped up more than I would like to say...So what did we do in our spare time???

checked my e-mail (yes, we roughed it really hard). We had Wi-Fi

Made a fort out of all the couch cushions
Cailey played with her press on nails

Made some really yummy smores (Watch out for Cayden. He likes to run around with the marshmallow stick and put it into your hair when you are not looking!)

Went fishing (did not even get a bite)
Even though I wanted to kill the kids half the time. Cayden screamed a lot! Cody came down with the flu. We did make some good memories for the kids to remember. I guess that is what everything is about!
